MetalMafia faced a challenge when transitioning from their in-house CRM to Salesforce and integrating it with Adobe Commerce Cloud (also known as Magento). The previous CRM system wasn't connected to their essential tools and systems, causing significant overhead. As MetalMafia shifted to Adobe Commerce and consolidated its operations online, it needed additional CRM functionality to meet its business needs.

TechNWeb’s solution involved a combination of out-of-the-box Adobe Commerce and Salesforce integration and its customization. MetalMafia's sales team relied heavily on the custom functionality of their home-grown CRM; their sales representatives had the ability to document calls and access notes seamlessly. While Adobe Commerce offered some extensions and plugins to replicate these features, MetalMafia found that they didn’t meet their requirements - they were looking for a smooth process from start to finish.
By integrating Salesforce with Adobe Commerce, MetalMafia aimed to provide their sales team with a unified and efficient work environment. With Salesforce as the primary platform, sales reps could initiate calls, record notes, and update customer information.
The solution TechNWeb developed made their workflow even more efficient. They were able to add a Quick Order button, allowing sales reps to directly access the Adobe Commerce order form preloaded with the customer information. This eliminated several extra clicks for the sales rep to access Adobe Commerce backoffice (aka. admin panel), find the customer, and initiate the order process, saving them about five minutes per customer order. With thousands of orders taking place every week, MetalMafia was able to eliminate hundreds of hours of wasted overhead annually.
